Pratt’s NonCredit certificates deliver flexible paths for both amateurs and professionals. Built to encourage interdisciplinary exploration, NonCredit certificates are stackable and perfect for developing a modern, multidisciplinary art and design practice.

Pratt Institute’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) certificates support professional development, educational advancement, career change, and personal enrichment.

Multiple class delivery modes foster scheduling flexibility through in-person, online, and hybrid courses –see individual courses for options. In addition, many courses can be taken in a condensed format during the fall, spring and summer semesters to accelerate certificate completion. Finally, students can choose to take any class connected to a certificate program as a stand alone class without prior approval. Students who elect not to commit to a certificate program in advance can always apply their coursework to one later through an SCPS transcript review by a certificate advisor.
