Sara De Young
Sara De Young is a visiting assistant professor and the Director of Visitor Experience & Engagement at the Brooklyn Museum. Previously, she served as Manager of Interpretive Materials at the Brooklyn Museum. A vocal visitor advocate, her expertise lies in crafting accessible and engaging visitor experiences and reaching audiences across platforms. She works with curators, designers, educators, technologists, and editors on all aspects of visitor experience and engagement.
Jennifer Cwiok is a visiting assistant professor and the Digital Systems Librarian at the American Museum of Natural History. She has extensive experience in metadata and digital asset management having worked on projects for Marvel Entertainment, Condé Nast, the Granger Collection, and the University of Georgia.
Iris Lee is a visiting assistant professor and the Cataloging and Metadata Librarian at the American Museum of Natural History. She has expertise in archives, preservation and records management.
Elena Villaespesa is a visiting associate professor at Pratt SI. She was a Tate Honorary Research Fellow from 2015 to 2017 and served as Digital Analyst at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she was responsible for establishing and overseeing an analytics program to monitor and assess departmental channels, platforms and programs. Her research and teaching focus on digital strategy, data analysis and visualization, and user experience applied to cultural and museum sectors.
M. Cristina Pattuelli
M. Cristina Pattuelli is a professor at Pratt SI. She teaches courses on Knowledge Organization, Linked Open Data for Cultural Heritage, and Art Documentation. Her research focuses on the development and application of semantic technologies to art and cultural heritage. She is the founder and co-director of the Semantic Lab.
