ASCEND, designed by Emre Ozdemir and Ann Dinh with fabrication assistance by Rodrigo Guajardo, was selected for the SHINE exhibition at The Seaport, during the NYCxDESIGN Festival. Original lighting creations from over 70 designers will be exhibited, curated by Harry Allen. ASCEND is an ephemeral tabletop lighting system that evokes emotional opulence while reminiscent of the body. Mixing sharp geometric forms with warm materials and coloration, ASCEND plays with one’s perception.
SHINE will be on view from May 14- 20, 2026, from 11 am-8 pm daily.
