Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture dean Quilian Riano will be a featured panelist at two architecture events in New York City in November.

On Nov. 12, he will be a panelist at Tertulia No 5, the latest installment of a conversation series organized by Latinos in Design. The event invites attendees to reflect on the bridges between the classroom and the built world, under the theme “Creating dreams in academia, shaping realities in practice.” Riano will join voices from across disciplines to explore how ideas born in academic spaces can evolve into impactful projects that shape our communities and lived environments.

On Nov. 21, Riano will join leadership representatives of over a dozen schools of architecture at the annual AIA New York Deans’ Roundtable, discussing current directions in architectural education.
