SoA faculty member Jason Vigneri-Beane has contributed a chapter on “Transductions: Artificial Intelligence in Architectural Experimentation” to the new book, The Intelligence Age. The book is edited by Tommaso Brighenti, Elena Manferdini, and Elvio Manganaro and published by Mimesis Edizioni.

From the publisher, the book addresses, “What happens to architectural education and research as artificial intelligence reshapes the profession in real time? The Intelligence Age is a book that captures this critical moment, examining how AI is transforming not only design tools and processes but also the ways architectural knowledge is produced, shared, and applied within universities today. Drawing on contributions from a global network of leading academic institutions, the volume brings together dialogues that foreground contrasting and complementary perspectives, advancing a collective effort to rethink pedagogy and research while situating technological innovation within a broader cultural, ethical, and disciplinary context.”
