Planning for another decade of impact…

GCPE’s Urban and Community Planning, MS is updating its 10 Year Strategic Plan

We are re-envisioning the future of the program. Over the next six months, we will gather feedback from students, alumni, and community partners to shape the program’s vision, academic objectives, and action items.

The 2026 Strategic Plan is our compass for the decade ahead. We invite you to help shape this vision.

Our Process

The strategic planning process kicked off in March 2025 and will unfold over a series of focused phases. Our approach includes a community review feedback loop where Committee decisions are evaluated and discussed widely, at each step along the way.

A colorful roadmap graphic illustrating Pratt Institute’s 2025–2026 strategic planning process. The timeline is shaped like a winding path divided into color-coded stages: Scoping (yellow, March–April 2025), Visioning (orange, April–September 2025), Community Engagement I (blue, September–October 2025), Strategic Development (green, November 2025), Community Engagement II (blue, November–December 2025), Drafting (pink, December 2025), Community Engagement III (blue, January 2026), and Finalize (yellow, February 2026). Each stage includes milestones such as workshops, focus groups, interviews, surveys, and drafting meetings, emphasizing inclusive community involvement and iterative development.
