The Sirovich Family Faculty & Staff Project Grant supports, with up to $7,500 in funding, STEAM projects conducted by Pratt faculty and staff members. Two or more faculty/staff members may collaborate in either the creation of a new interdisciplinary project, or continuation of current work. At least one faculty/staff team member must be an expert in a STEM field. Additional team members outside of the Pratt community may collaborate on these projects at the discretion of the project lead(s).
The Pratt faculty/staff project leads can invite other team members to work with them, including students and professionals/experts from outside of the Pratt community. Project teams in this program can take a variety of forms, including:
- One STEM and one non-STEM faculty/staff member (at minimum)
- One STEM and one non-STEM faculty/staff member (at minimum) with additional student member(s)
- One STEM and one non-STEM faculty/staff member (at minimum) with additional guest resident member(s)
