Accreditation

The interior design program leading to the BFA in Interior Design is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation, www.accredit-id.org, 206 Grandville Avenue, Suite 350, Grand Rapids, MI, 49503.

The CIDA-accredited program prepares students for entry-level interior design practice, for advanced study, and to apply for membership in professional interior design organizations. The BFA in Interior Design granted by Pratt Institute meets the educational requirement for eligibility to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Examination (NCIDQ Exam). JOB PLACEMENT: 86% of students who graduated between July 2020 and June 2021 were employed within 1 year

GRADUATE PROGRAMS:  8% of respondents (3 out of 38) who graduated between July 2020 and June 2021

GRADUATION:  7/1/20 – 6/30/21  96% graduated in 4 yrs or less, 4% in 5-6 yrs

RETENTION/ATTRITION:  95% retention 5% attrition freshmen entering FA20 returning FA21
