Through a generous gift by a Pratt alumna, the Rowena Reed Kostellow (RRK) Digital Archive was developed by the School of Design and Industrial Design leadership with an advisory group of industrial design alumni and faculty and undergraduate and graduate Industrial Design students.
How were the Rowena Reed Kostellow Digital Archive items sourced and selected?
The items included in the digital archive were sourced through an open call to Pratt Industrial Design alumni and members of the Pratt Industrial Design department, as well as from the Pratt Library Archive collections. The RRK advisory group voted on each submission individually to determine which items met specific criteria to reflect Rowena Reed Kostellow’s teachings and legacy.
