The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) provides life-long access to career management education, inspiration, and support for students and alumni to develop their full potential as creative practitioners with clarity, competence and confidence.

Our vision is for all Pratt students and alumni to thrive and flourish in their chosen career path. Our programs include workshops & webinars, industry portfolio reviews, networking opportunities, mindfulness education, and one on one advising.

For Students/Alumni

The Center for Career and Professional Development supports students and alumni for life. Our professional and student staff develop programs, resources, and tools to help every Pratt student and alumni achieve professional success at any stage of their career.

Meditation Incubator 

The Meditation Incubator at Pratt Institute is an online space and ZOOM/live workshop for faculty, students, alumni and staff to learn to meditate and use visualization to deepen presence in creativity, develop calm and focus, and create a life plan from a meditative lens. Mindful Pratt - the art of the pause

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers U.S. citizens a year-long opportunity to pursue their academic and artistic interests in a foreign country after graduation. Each year, the Institute of International Education (IIE) awards approximately 1,900 Fulbright grants in over 140 countries. The grants are decided by the Fulbright Review Committee, and are allocated based on project feasibility and the candidate’s ability to serve as a cultural ambassador in a foreign country. Resilience, Wellness and Wellbeing Council and project

The RWW Council and project provides a monthly forum for conversations on well-being. We offer tiered support and resources that focus on connection, engagement, support, and well-being. Our website highlights departmental programs and the Council provides a cross institute leadership forum to improve individual and community resilience, wellness and well-being.
