School Goals: Evaluation and Action Plan

Each year at its annual retreat, the School of Information evaluates the extent to which its goals are being met and creates an action plan to ensure goals are addressed. The evaluations and action plans for the last several years are available on the School’s Planning and Assessment webpage. From this page, you can also find information on the School of Information Strategic Plans.

Comprehensive Self-Study

In 2023-2024, the School undertook a comprehensive self-study of the MSLIS program, which is a requirement for seeking continued accreditation from the American Library Association. The study illustrates how the MSLIS program addresses the five standards of the 2015 ALA Standards for Accredited Programs: 1) Systematic Planning, 2) Curriculum, 3) Faculty, 4) Students, and 5) Administration, Finances and Resources. The Self-Study is available on this website for viewing and download.
