The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program

Established by the New York State Legislature in 1969, the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) provides a broad range of services to New York State residents who, because of educational and economic circumstances, would otherwise be unable to attend a postsecondary educational institution.

HEOP at Pratt Institute has been in existence since the program’s inception and serves students who are provided with integrated academic support services, tuition assistance, and supplemental financial assistance, designed to increase their chances of success. Services include a First-year Summer Program, tutoring, personal and academic counseling, financial aid, and a wide range of academic and professional enrichment activities.

HEOP at Pratt Institute and its activities are supported in part by the New York State Education Department and Pratt Institute.
