Handshake is Pratt’s primary platform for discovering employment opportunities, including internships, full-time and part-time positions, and freelance projects. Employers from a wide range of industries and locations use Handshake to recruit Pratt talent. Whether you are launching your career, exploring new industries, or considering a career transition, Handshake offers access to thousands of opportunities tailored to students and alumni. Pratt students and alumni receive lifetime access to the platform.
Interstride
Interstride is designed to support students and alumni pursuing opportunities in the United States and around the world. The platform helps users search for jobs and internships, identify employers that sponsor work visas, explore international career resources, and connect with a network of internationally focused students and alumni. Interstride is valuable for international students navigating work authorization, and domestic students interested in gaining experience or pursuing careers abroad.
Career Success Career Bot
Parker Dewey
Parker Dewey helps students gain professional experience through paid Micro-Internships. These short-term projects provide opportunities to develop skills, explore career interests, and build meaningful connections. Through participation in Micro-Internships, students can strengthen their resumes and portfolios while gaining exposure to real-world work environments. Parker Dewey also supports nonprofit and mission-driven organizations through its Gigs for Good initiative, which funds Micro-Internships at no cost to participating organizations.

The Career Success office offers a variety of resources designed to support students and alumni throughout their career journeys. As Career Success continues to expand and improve access to these materials, many guides, industry resources, recommended organizations, and career development tools are available through the Career Success Resources Drive Folder.
Resources & Guides
Career Success’s collection of career guides provides support at every stage of professional development. Students and alumni can access resources covering resumes, cover letters, interviewing, networking, portfolio development, internships, salary negotiation, and career planning for international students. Resources can be found in the Career Success tab on the left, under “Resources.”
Staying Connected
CCPD Newsletter
Distributed once a month, the newsletter highlights opportunities and career information relevant to Pratt students. Featured content may include fellowships, residencies, scholarships, competitions, open calls, career opportunities, and industry news and trends.

Student Employment
Students seeking on-campus employment opportunities can access available positions through Pratt’s Student Employment Portal. The portal serves as the primary resource for finding student jobs across the Institute.

Talks at Pratt provide access to recorded presentations and workshops. These recordings offer students and alumni the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, alumni, faculty, and guest speakers even if they missed the live event.
