Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

All courses are subject to minimum enrollment. 

When courses are withdrawn or cancelled by Pratt for any reason:

  • your first-choice registration(s) will automatically get transferred to your second/alternative choice(s), if you provided them; or
  • if you did not provide any second choice information on your registration form, you may still transfer to another course, or receive a full refund. 

Pratt Institute reserves the right to cancel any class for which there is insufficient enrollment and to withdraw or modify course offerings. Course location, fees, and instructors may also be changed when necessary.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Withdrawal requests should be emailed to scps-credit@pratt.edu with the course name, related summer session, and “WITHDRAWAL REQUEST” in the subject line. Withdrawals and refunds are computed based on the date of the email received. Requests sent after the deadlines below will not be considered.

Withdrawal Deadlines: 

Summer I: May 9

Summer II: June 8

  • Withdrawal refund requests submitted in writing before the withdrawal deadline: 100% tuition refund (fees are non-refundable).
  • There is no refund after the withdrawal deadline.

Summer Credit Intensive 2024 Course Dates

SUMMER 1:

June 3 – June 27, 2024 (M, T, W, Th*)

*exceptional class on Friday, June 21 to make up for the Juneteenth holiday.

SUMMER 2:

July 8 – August 1, 2024 (M, T, W, Th)
