Wanqing (Rita) Zhang, MFA Communications Design ’23, recently served as both the graphic designer and UX/UI designer for the mental health app Semicolon. The design project has received a Muse Design Award, Muse Creative Award, and an NY Product Award, among other recognitions. Zhang shares, “Raising public awareness of depression is my passion. I’ve always been interested in mental health, exploring how design can help patients cope with depression and how it can serve as a tool to solve real-world issues.”
