Submit Financial Statement(s) Required to Apply for an I-20 Form
The United States government requires the Office of International Affairs (OIA) to review and verify international students’ financial means in order to issue the SEVIS I-20 immigration form. The I-20 form is required to apply for an F-1 entry visa and study in F-1 status in the United States.
For the I-20 application, please upload an adequate financial statement from yourself, a family member, and/or a scholarship provider. OIA will review the documentation to verify you have a standard minimum amount of liquid funds available. Please read OIA’s Financial Statement policy carefully before applying for your I-20.
Submit I-20 Application
After setting up your OnePratt account, you will gain access to the Office of International Affairs (OIA) I-20 Application Student Portal. All I-20 related correspondence will be sent to your Pratt email, including notification when it is available for you to download.
Apply for Your F-1 Student Visa
After receiving the I-20 form in the Student Portal, most students will need to apply for the F-1 entry visa at the local U.S. consulate abroad. Please review OIA’s F-1 visa application information carefully.
