Accessories Design Certificate

Design a compelling accessories line

Accessories are known to help complete and enhance any outfit, allowing the wearer to add their own unique creative touches. The purpose of this program is to communicate your design vision strategically to accessories design experts following industry standards. Complete a portfolio of your collection’s drawings and a business plan that tell a compelling brand story through footwear, bags, belts, hats, gloves, small faux-leather goods, and wearables. Learn how the worlds of product design and fashion design intersect through accessories design. Develop the design, technical, and business skills you need to prepare to launch your accessories collection to market. This unique, hands-on program focuses on the humane and sustainable approaches to sourcing materials and applying construction methods to produce a unique and professional-quality accessories line plan. At the conclusion of the program, students make presentations of their design briefs to a jury of successful designers.

Students may have the opportunity to have their work displayed on our School’s web gallery or blog DesignTerra, at the teachers’ discretion.
