**Student Activities fee does not include materials and transportation for courses. Costs are estimated at $450 but differ by concentration. Material lists are shared by faculty before or at the start of classes.
Students applying for a scholarship through Pratt PreCollege will need to express their interest on the application form and upload two letters of recommendation as well as samples of artwork in the applicant’s choice of medium, for example: sketches, photography, painting, writing etc. Please note, previous PreCollege participants are not eligible for these scholarships.
Merit scholarships are open to all PreCollege applicants. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as they are limited, very competitive and typically awarded to the earliest qualifiers. Merit Scholarship awards cover partial tuition and range in amounts offered. Students who are awarded a Merit Scholarship are notified of the amount offered within the letter of acceptance. Merit scholarship applicants are reviewed based on their overall application submission on a competitive basis.
Black Alumni at Pratt (BAP) sponsors a scholarship program for Black and Latinx students who are New York State residents and registered in a New York State high school. This is a full-tuition scholarship and includes room and board. Please review the eligibility qualifications and application form carefully.
Refunds and Cancellation
Please note that requests for cancellations must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put “Summer Cancellation” in your subject line.
Before June 1: Refund of payments made minus the nonrefundable $650
Between June 1 and June 15: 50% refund of payments made minus the nonrefundable $650
After June 15: No refund for any reason
