Biography
Peter Ragonetti is a Professor of Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, where he leads the Design Entrepreneurship Minor—an interdisciplinary program that helps students merge creative practice with entrepreneurial thinking. He teaches a range of courses including 3-Dimensional Design Studio within the Industrial Design Department, a Crowdfunding course open to students across all disciplines, and Sophomore-level CAD.
In addition to his academic role, Peter is an Industrial Designer and consultant based in Brooklyn with over 20 years of experience in product design and development. His work spans a wide range of industries, including consumer electronics, pet products, and wearable tech. He specializes in supporting early-stage startups, guiding founders from concept through production with expertise in design, patent strategy, manufacturing, and packaging.
Whether in the classroom or in the field, Peter’s work centers on helping people turn ideas into real, impactful products.
