Andrew Brown
Visiting Assistant Professor
Biography
Andrew Brown is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Interior Design department at Pratt where he teaches representation courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. His focus is in helping students develop a critical approach to the craft of drawing with both traditional and contemporary tools and methodologies.
Andrew is also a practicing architect with a focus on adaptive reuse and historic restoration projects. Through nearly a decade of practice in New York, he has focused on complex, large scale renovation projects of historically significant buildings including the Battery Maritime Building, an historic ferry terminal in New York Harbor and the Orchard Beach Pavilion, a public park facility in the Bronx.
