Your first step is to fill out the grad app by December 31. This will get you on the mailing list for commencement.
Please visit the Celebrations & Receptions page for an overview of all end of year festivities. Be on the lookout for emails from commence@pratt.edu and the Registrar’s Office. Important information regarding arrival times, security, tickets, and other arrangements for commencement will be sent via email throughout the year.
December 31: Deadline to submit the Grad App. This action will get you on the mailing list for important updates about the 2026 Commencement ceremony, including ticket information.
February 27- March 6, 2026: Request your tickets for the Commencement ceremony! You must request a ticket to attend. The form will be emailed on February 27 to all students who filled out the Grad App.
Ticket Details: Every student who complete the Grad App by December 31 AND respond to the ticket form by the March 6 deadline can request up to 2 guest tickets. We will collect extra ticket requests and distribute them IF they become available.
March 6: Deadline for faculty to complete the RSVP form for Commencement and the Faculty Reception. Please complete this form even if you have your own regalia.
Late March: Extra tickets (if available) will be offered to students who requested them by the March 7 deadline, but you must claim them via the extra ticket form. Check your Pratt email for a form to claim your extra ticket!
April 5: Students should order their cap and gown by this deadline. You must wear a cap and gown to participate in the Commencement ceremony.
April 28, May 1, and May 2: Pick up your regalia, academic and leadership cords and braids, and faculty pass to Commencement at Grad Fair, hosted at the Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses. Get in-person help with your Commencement tickets.
Week of May 18: Attend Pratt Institute’s 2026 Commencement Ceremony!
