Yeji Kim
Graphic Designer
Biography
Yeji Kim (she/her) is a NYC-based graphic designer, illustrator, and multidisciplinary artist.
Through her design practice, she engages with and addresses topics including climate and environmental justice, blockchain, web3, and AI’s implications on the future of art education, ethical concerns in social media, biomimicry, historical conservation, and food equity in collaboration with various non-profit, cultural, and educational institutions.
When Yeji is not making art or designing, she co-runs misplaced press, an independent publisher specializing in experimental books, zines, and exhibitions, helps organize the East Village Zine Fair, and volunteers at 8-Ball Community.
Select collaborators include: Typographics, UCLA Luskin School of Social Affairs, Herb Lubalin Center for Typography and Design, Poster House, Food Education Fund, Partner & Partners, Museum Hue, National Audubon Society, and Nonhuman Teachers.
