Biography
Tray Tsui is a queer media artist and filmmaker whose work explores the connection between visual culture, collective memory, and personal narrative. Their works have screened at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, CROSSROADS / SFMoMA, Frameline, Shapeshifters Cinema, Southern Exposure, among others. They are a 2018-2019 Queer Art Mentorship Fellow, a Flaherty Seminar Fellow, a recipient of the Fotokem Graduate Student Grant, the Princess Grace Film Honorarium, and the John Gutmann Award. Natalie likes critical theory, astrology memes, and balloons.
