Kent Hikida is a New York City based architect and educator.

He has taught at Pratt since 1993 in undergraduate architecture, graduate architecture, and currently in construction management.
He has served on numerous committees including the board of trustee’s diversity equity and inclusion committee and buildings and grounds committee; the school of architecture governing group and faculty council; the school of architecture peer review committee; the school of architecture curriculum review committee; and the construction management professional advisory committee.

His professional experience includes working in the offices of Steven Holl Architects; Michael Sorkin Studio; Gaetano Pesce Studio; HLW International; Gensler; The Switzer Group; and OTJ Architects.

He lives in Greenwich Village with his wife and cat. His son is a college graduate living in Maine.
