Biography
Tiffany Joy Butler is Associate Curator of Public Programs at Museum of the Moving Image. As an artist, writer, educator, she is most fascinated in combining media education with English language learning for Program X: Cultural Activism and Media. She is the founder of the queer media arts collective Hot Cabinet. She has been an AIM Fellow at The Bronx Museum, a Visiting Artist for The Institute for Cultural Unity at Alfred University and a writing resident at Wassaic Project and Vermont Studio Center. Her writing has been published in Reverse Shot, Feministing, Muchacha Zine, Telling Our Stories Press and the anthology Latinas: Gender, Race & Class—Struggles in 21st Century USA, Vol. 2.
