Lecturer; Visiting Assistant Professor
I like to work in the space between raw data, analysis and the stories behind the data. I use tools such as QGIS, Mapbox, SQL and R or Python in tandem with design software to reshape data into accessible and clear illustrations of complex explorations. I also design layout and print systems to present geospatial analysis and data visualization within the context of narrative reports. Some recent clients include Working with some recent clients include the Hudson River Foundation, the NYC Department of Transportation, Metropolitan Museum, Etsy, and the NY State Department of Conservation. I’ve also exhibited visual art for many years in New York City and around the country.
