Taught at Pratt Institute for more than two decades, primarily 3rd Year Comprehensive Design Studio; Building Systems; Professional Practice and Construction Documents.

Senior Associate at Garrison Architects, where he has designed and managed a diverse portfolio of complex project types and programs for the federal government, the City of New York, numerous institutions and private developers. GSA Peer Reviewer for Land Ports of Entry. Expertise in modular construction, net zero housing and landscape hotels.

Founded Artifact Design + Construction in 1998 and S.T. Architecture in 2004.

Awards include: several Honor Awards from NYC’s Public Design Commission (Staten Island Animal Shelter, East Elmhurst Public Library; NYC Beaches Restoration; Lighthouse Point); Brooklyn Chapter AIA Design Awards (Piaule Landscape Hotel, the Seventy Seven Net Zero Affordable Housing); the Municipal Arts Society Building of the Year (Staten Island Animal Shelter); NY Chapter AIA Design Awards (SU Slocum Hall, Koby Cottage); Chicago Athenaeum (Samoa Consulate Residence); Finalist, Grand Army Plaza Competition; Finalist, Holocaust Human Rights Center of Maine Education Resource Center Competition; Distinguished Service Award, Transportation Alternatives (Penn Station Bicycle Parking Facility); Honor Award for Built Work, Boston Society of Architects (Berkshire Mountains Sauna); Honor Award for Interior Architecture, NY Chapter AIA (Park Avenue Terrace Apartment).
