Olivia Crough

I am a writer, researcher, and rare bookseller with expertise in print media and 20th-century non-fiction and experimental cinema. At Pratt I teach the courses History of Documentary Film and History of Film. In 2025 I brought Lebanese filmmaker Heiny Srour to campus and served as a jury member for Pratt’s Wallabout Film Festival. As a film critic, I am a contributor to Screen Slate, Film Comment, Art in America, and Narrow Margin.

My last name is pronounced “Crow.”
