Nicole Adair is the founder and principal consultant of Mad Air Studios, a cultural innovation company dedicated to the future of interaction design and virtual reality. As a creative technologist, Nicole has worked for The New York Times’ Research & Development department and is currently building a virtual gallery for the Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo in Italy.

With over 12 years of experience in the creative industries, Nicole has consulted for companies in SaaS, Industrial IoT, artificial intelligence, gaming, journalism, education, and science, producing work around neuroscience, healthcare, teaching and learning, the future of work, and workplace gamification.

A published fiction author and trained music composer, Nicole is also the Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at Pratt Institute and the Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business.
