Brooklyn artist Linda Casbon constructs functional clay objects and large-scale ceramic sculpture. She studied pre-architecture and ceramics at the University of Colorado (BENVD) and ceramics at Kent State University. She is the recipient of a NYFA artist fellowship and numerous residencies including the Kohler Arts in Industry Program, the Bemis Foundation, and the Banff Centre. Recent projects include participation in Quartz Inversion: an international web-based project with artwork and reflections on the pandemic, Claytopian New York at Plaxall Gallery, and the production of a virtual masterclass for the Taoxichuan Art Center in Jingdezhen, China.
