Third year studio design coordinator
Founded basecampZERO architects after working for prestigious NYC architectural offices PKSB and Hanrahan Meyers (hMa) architects. Lawrence has worked on a wide variety of building types including civic, educational, office, recreational, residential and sacred spaces. Has taught at Pratt since 2004 specializing in multifamily housing and also teaches abroad in Pratt Institutes Rome Program, focusing on Urban Design, Urban Studies and the work of Carlo Scarpa. Prior to teaching at Pratt, has taught design studios in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University.
Lawrence earned his Bachelors Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Masters Degree in Architecture from Columbia University. He is a registered architect in the states of New York and Colorado, and is NCARB certified.
