Kayleen Kulesza

Biography
Kayleen Kulesza is a licensed architect in New York, Pennsylvania, and Illinois and a Senior Associate at WRNS Studio, where she serves on the New York leadership team and as a leader in the firm’s higher education practice. Her work spans award-winning projects at all scales, from speculative drawings and installations to buildings and campus plans. In addition to leading design, she writes and contributes thought-pieces for WRNS Studio, advancing design discourse through collaboration with colleagues and other designers.
Before joining WRNS Studio in New York, Kayleen led design and visualization of multi-family residential projects in Philadelphia and collaborated on large-scale education, campus planning, and healthcare projects with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago.
At Pratt Institute, she teaches Intermediate Design Studios and Representation and has served on various design juries at institutions across the country. She works with WRNS Studio’s Internship Committee and the Foundation’s research mentorship initiatives, supporting cross-disciplinary inquiry and professional growth for emerging designers. Kayleen’s collaborative exhibitions and installations have been featured at the A+D Museum, Chicago Design Museum, and D6 Design + Art.
