Jolie Ruelle

Visiting Instructor


Jolie Ruelle is an artist and educator working in animation and motion design. She received her BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art (2004) and MFA from the University of California Santa Cruz (2012). She has worked for Big Pink Motion Graphics, Kenneth Cole Productions, and FLYP media where she collaborated with Scientific American, Fortune, ProPublica, and The Washington Post. Her current areas of interest include merging analogue animation practices with digital compositing techniques and exploring animation’s potential for social and environmental impact.
