Jolie Ruelle

Biography
Jolie Ruelle is an artist and educator, working in animation and motion design. She received her BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art (2004) and her MFA from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2012). She has worked in motion graphics and digital media with studios and organizations including Big Pink Motion Graphics, Kenneth Cole Productions, and FLYP Media, collaborating with publications such as Scientific American, Fortune, ProPublica, and The Washington Post. Her current work focuses on merging analogue and digital animation techniques while exploring animation’s potential to engage social and environmental issues. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
