Joe McCarthy is a writer, researcher, editor, and content creator with more than 10 years of experience in digital journalism. He has covered international business, civic engagement, global politics, pop culture, science, and much more. His main focus has been covering the climate crisis and efforts to transition to regenerative economies. 

As the civic engagement writer at Pratt, he focuses on telling stories about social and environmental justice, civic engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. He writes feature articles for the news page, helps to oversee the Daily Hub, and works alongside his colleagues to identify content opportunities across multiple channels.
