Biography
As the founder of a globally recognized independent fashion brand, I have a lot of experience in the industry. I’ve been working professionally in fashion since 2000. Early on my expertise veered toward knitwear and sweaters and I’ve grown and evolved that knowledge through various work experiences. Knitwear was a major focus of my brand, OHNE TITEL (2006-2016). Now, in addition to teaching, I consult on knitwear consulting with customers as varied as Prabal Gurung, to Athleta, to NASA. I’ve worked on projects that start from farming sheep, to spinning, to knitting finished clothes. I’ve designed and produced high end evening wear, and athletic wear. Recently I’ve helped on government research projects for clothing in extreme environments. Recently, I relocated to Houston TX, so I can only teach remotely. I teach a Fashion Business class.
