Eric Bias
Grant Administration Specialist

Biography
Eric is the Grant Administration Specialist at the Provost’s Office of Research and Strategic Partnerships at Pratt Institute. In this role, Eric is responsible for supporting all aspects of pre- and post-award activities for ORSP’s portfolio of grants, contracts, and strategic partnerships. Drawing from his decade of experience in philanthropy working for the Russell Sage and Rockefeller Foundations, he provides strategic guidance to faculty PIs on proposal and budget development. Prior to Pratt Institute, Eric has also held positions for the Roosevelt Institute and International Center for Transitional Justice.
Eric was raised in West Virginia, but now lives in the very similar neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant. If he’s not in the office, Eric can probably be found on his bike cycling around the city and its environs, taking care of his growing houseplant collection like a proper millennial, or chipping away at the growing collection of books he picked up from the stoops and Little Free Libraries of his neighbors.
