Dina earned her Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Pratt Institute. She began working at Housing Works as the Director of the art therapy department where her interest in creating an inclusive therapeutic environment for her clients was a priority, integrating Horticulture therapy with the creative arts therapies. After leaving Housing Works and the Renfrew Center to pursue her private practice specializing in Eating Disorders and addictions Dina was asked to teach at both the Pratt graduate art therapy program and the New School Creative arts therapy certificate program. Soon after starting to teach at Pratt Dina became the practicum coordinator and after 10 years of teaching and doing practicum work, Dina took on the position of Assistant Chair and Director of the Graduate Creative Art Therapy Department at the Pratt. In 2014 Dina and her partner started an artists residency program in VT called the Marble House Project, where the arts and the environment are in the forefront of their project.
