Biography
Danielle Kemble is a co-founder of Haven, a Brooklyn-based architecture practice committed to designing and building the next generation of residential environments. Her work focuses on single family housing across a range of scales, from accessory dwelling units to reimagining how communities should look today. In addition to Haven, she is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Undergraduate Architecture program at Pratt Institute, where she teaches Design Studio, Representation and PreCollege courses.
Before co-founding Haven, Danielle spent time practicing in the offices of Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), Oyler Wu Collaborative, and WeWork’s Ground Up Studio led by architect Michel Rojkind. Most recently, she was an Architect at Snøhetta New York, designing Ford Motor Company’s new 2-million-square-foot global headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan.
She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Master of Architecture II from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
