Biography
Dahlia is a Lebanese–Syrian–American storyteller based in New York City, working across photography, community programming and assorted creative projects. As Pratt’s Photographer and Photo Editor, she shoots, edits, and curates visuals for marketing, comms and editorial.
Outside of her photo work, she focuses her energy on community work, including events and programming. She is the DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival’s Community Partnership coordinator and produces zines, workshops, film screenings and events, with experience in journalism, advertising, social media and academia spaces at places like the Austin American Statesman, The Daily Dot, Wieden+Kennedy and 360i.
She was a Diversify Photo x Fujifilm DEVELOP mentee, AdClub I’mPART Women’s Fellow, Afikra community organizer, a Creative Mornings volunteer and an organizer of the ‘Banat El Hara’ art exhibition, which was done alongside the Arab Film & Media Institute.
