Dr. Clare Ostroski is a Research Development Specialist in the Office of Research and Strategic Partnerships. Offering wraparound support in identifying research opportunities, proposal planning, and grant writing, she is committed to fostering Pratt’s synthesis of art, humanities, health, science, and engineering research in her interdisciplinary collaboration with faculty and partners.
     
As a scholar of media studies and the environmental humanities, Clare has published and presented research in many interdisciplinary journals and conferences, including Postmodern Culture, Environmental Communication, and the International Environmental Communications Association. Her current book project explores the nonhumanness of mediating technologies from film to AI, and she has years of experience advising, editing, and nominating award proposals. When she’s not reading or writing, Clare can likely be found at a movie theater or bakery.
