Chris Larkin

Biography
Chris Larkin is a social impact strategist and researcher whose work bridges organizational psychology, human-centered design, and systems thinking. Her practice focuses on how organizations build evidence-driven cultures and use design to advance social and environmental wellbeing. She partners with nonprofits, philanthropies, and mission-driven businesses across the social innovation ecosystem.
Before launching her independent consulting practice, Chris served as Managing Director of Impact at IDEO.org, Director of Evidence at Girl Effect (a Nike Foundation initiative), and Research Manager at BBC Media Action. Across these roles, she collaborated with multidisciplinary design, communications, and research teams to embed social science, measurement, and learning into the design of products, services, and campaigns, and advised leaders on impact strategy and scaling sustainable impact. Her global experience spans Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, the UK, and the United States.
Chris has been part of the Creative Enterprise Leadership faculty at Pratt Institute since 2025.
