Additional editorial projects include: A Scheme to Annihilate Magnificent Distances (Axiomatic Editions, 2026) a memoir and reflection of an era of social and political unrest by artist Carolee Thea; Grow the Future: Visions of Biodesign (Biodesign Challenge, 2023), a book that features projects and writings by artists, designers, and scientists in this emerging field; and In Search of African American Space: Redressing Racism (Lars Müller Publishers, 2020), a volume of essays that reconsiders African American spatial typologies.

Carrie practiced landscape architecture for fifteen years, working on large-scale public projects as well as smaller projects for private clients in and around New York City.
