A man with short, light hair gazes slightly off-camera with a thoughtful expression. He wears a collared shirt and sweater. The black background and sharp lighting highlight the contours of his face in this high-contrast black and white image.

I am a Kraut graphic design consultant for user interfaces & fresh concepts and a networker with international experience.

Throughout my career, I have been at the cutting edge of design and technology. I designed user interfaces for MTV’s first websites and Samsung’s first DVD releases. In my proudest moments, I solve User Experience issues on websites and other digital media. I also co-founded a monthly print magazine entitled “Flyer,” with a circulation of 100,000.

As a consultant, I authored designs for the international brands The Limited, Sony, and Adidas, among others, along with complementary point-of-sale materials, flyers, record covers, movie posters, advertising campaigns, and packaging.

I used to be the NYC chapter lead for a typography meet-up called “TypeThursdays”, a typography critique for people who love letterforms, which continues as “Type Tonight” once a month at various locations.

I speak German, English, French, a little Japanese, and geek; I also dream in code.
