Anna White

Anna E. White is an artist, educator, and designer with a passion for using the arts to bring people together and build stronger communities. She holds a Master of Arts in Art Education from Pratt Institute, where she graduated with distinction, and a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art History from the University of St. Thomas and Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Anna has taught visual arts across elementary, middle, and high school settings in the New York City public schools, most recently as an Elementary Art Teacher, and currently serves as the Acting Assistant Chairperson in the Art & Design Education Department as well as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute. Alongside her teaching career, she is a freelance artist and designer specializing in graphic design, murals, custom paintings, and public installations. Her work is rooted in the belief that art is a powerful tool for connection, collaboration, and creative expression, and she is committed to fostering inclusive, community-centered learning experiences through the visual arts.
