Anna Philip is a Swedish born Fashion Designer who came to NY in the early 1990s to purse her carrier as a designer after graduating from fashion school in Los Angeles. Through her 20 + years’ experience, she has worked in all aspects of design, most recently as a mens wear designer with previous experience in women’s and children’s design. Her experience spans from original concept development to final production including pattern making, product design and development and creative direction. During her tenure at Polo Ralph Lauren, she held the position as Senior Design Director of The Mens knitwear department, the largest division of the company. Previous to Ralph Lauren, Anna worked for Calvin Klein, Marithe´ and Francois Girbaud and Kenneth Cole among others. Her experience spans from working locally with domestic vendors to overseas production teams and factories.

Anna always loved teaching and sharing her knowledge and experience with her team. In 2013 she was given the opportunity to teach at Parsons School of Design and FIT. She immediately felt that she had found her calling and has been teaching since. She cherries the creative process and finds it extremely rewarding to support her students through that process. Her prior teaching experience is from Parsons School of Design, FIT and New York School of Design. In addition to teaching, Anna still works as a consultant in the Fashion Industry, focusing on designer startups.
