The exhibition showcases the work of Pratt Institute School of Architecture students who participated in the Spring 2026 Rome program.

The projects investigate the transition between land and water in the city of Rome. Rome’s climate oscillates between scarcity in the hot, dry summer months and can also suffer from the extreme of intense storms where water becomes a flooding threat. The projects range yet each asked for the student to define their own “intervention,” providing public spaces for students, migrants, pilgrims, and tourists. The aim was to foster cultural exchange while elevating water as both a shared public realm and a vital environmental resource.
