Visiting Professor in the School of Information Christie Shin was selected as a 2026 Google Higher Education Faculty AI Fellow. Through this fellowship, she researched and developed a “Cognitive-Process Assessment” framework for the age of AI. She also co-authored and published Empowering Design Education with AI: Curriculum Innovation in the Age of Creative Intelligence.
