Professor of Undergraduate Architecture Jason Vigneri-Beane is participating in a panel on Designing with Intelligence: An AI Collection of Speculative Objects hosted by the Lawrence Technological University’s College of Architecture and Design. Experts will discuss AI’s impact on art and design, how it can be used in design work, and more.

Rachel Lee, BFA Digital Arts (2-D Animation) ’26 was awarded a merit scholarship from ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum (AEF).

Syllogism, an exhibition by Lisa Corinne Davis, BFA ’80, received a glowing review in Hyperallergic. “Davis has stretched the possibilities of geometric abstraction into a territory defined by digital systems, algorithms, flow charts, and diagrams—a visual realm that alludes to the measurement and prediction of our behavior.” The exhibition was also named one of the five New York shows to see this season by Hyperallergic.

Mikah Liu, BArch ’28 has been named Atlantic East Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week following a pair of wins in yesterday’s victory over Bard. Liu takes home the first weekly award of the season and receives it for the second time in his career.

Paula Stoddard Sotomayor and Michael Ortiz Jiménez, both MArch ’24, discuss their recent ICFF Launch Pad win for their project Herencia Tótem, a furniture collection that transforms reclaimed textiles, and their studio Estudio PM with Dwell. “We like to think of our studio as a constant experiment of spatial design, materiality, and storytelling,” said Ortiz.

Carisima Koenig, adjunct associate professor of Graduate Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design (GA/LA/UD), was selected for the National Council of Architectural Registration Board’s Scholars in Professional Practice 2025 program held at the University of Utah’s School of Architecture.
