Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor in the School of Information Chris Alen Sula has published “Provocations for Platform Studies,” a scholarly commentary on the latest episode of the Positions podcast, which offers critical reflections on topics in cultural studies for scholars, students, and a general audience. The episode discusses Digital Platforms and Agency, a special section published in Lateral, the peer-reviewed, open-access journal of the Cultural Studies Association, which Sula co-edits. “Think of this as a guided tour through my [Foundations] syllabus,” Sula writes, “told in relation to the themes of the special section.”
